MUAs of the Month: August 2017

I will be highlighting some of the best MUAs with lots of potential and talent in this post and each month!
This month, I will be showcasing some of my favorite MUAs out there with lots of creativity and uniqueness that makes them stand out. Each of them are beautifully their own individual with their own style of makeup! Many people submitted for MUA of the Month (and I genuinely wish I could pick you all) but these four ladies stood out the most to me. If you want to enter for MUA of the Month for September, I will be posting instructions on how to enter at the end of the post. With that in mind, let's see who earned MUA of the Month for August!

Victoria Amos  //  Instagram: v.amosmakeup

Simplicity is key when it comes to Victoria's makeup skills. The intricacy and the colorfulness of her eye and lip looks make her stand out compared to others. Experienced, but still learning, she is making a name for herself on Instagram and has lots of potential on the horizon. She is so t…

Tips and Tricks: How To Achieve The "No-Makeup Makeup Look"

I'll be sharing some of my absolute favorite tips and tricks on how to achieve the best natural look for ANY occasion! Back to school season is back for a lot of us and frankly, we aren't always going to go to class in full glam. Maybe you just want a super natural, flawless finish look that isn't too out there but you can't nail it just yet. Well in this post, I'll be sharing some of my all time favorite tips and tricks to get that enhances your natural features. So let's dive right in!

no-makeup makeup look: Another term to describe a natural look that really enhances someone's natural beauty

I know it's so cliche, but taking care of your skin is key to a natural, no-makeup makeup look. For me, I hydrate my skin like crazy by drinking tons of water. I purchased a 30 oz Yeti tumbler cup to take to school and my goal is to drink it all before the end of the school day. It's been like night and day for my ski…

Meet Me: Life Update

I will be updating you on what's new in my life, posting schedule, my blog's new Instagram, and more!
If you've noticed, I've been slowing down on how much I've been posting. School started back up last week and I've been so occupied, as well as drained in energy. It's been naps galore for me since school has begun for me. I've never blogged during school (because I made this blog in July) so I am trying to come up with a new routine, which brings me into my next topic.

For my @glammunition Instagram, I am trying to post as much as I can. I recently did some looks, but didn't like the quality of the photos and how it was not as coherent with my others posts as much as I wanted to. I have a new setup and I am still setting that whole area up, so bare with me!

I am going to put myself on a posting schedule. It'll give you guys something to expect as the reader and I won't have to advertise that I've posted a new post so much. A posting sch…

My Thoughts: Sephora x Moschino Collab

Hear my thoughts on the Sephora x Moschino launch and collaboration. I'll be going in full depth about the whole collection! In this post, I will be talking about my thoughts on the Sephora x Moschino collection that just recently launched. Sephora used the Moschino Bear, that was introduced in 2014 by designer Jeremy Scott (I believe), as inspiration for this 7 item collection that is to die for. If you are not familiar with the designer brand, the Moschino Bear is essentially the brand's image and is all over their clothes and accessories. The pop culture brand joined forces with one of the world's largest makeup company for the collaboration of the year! Hear my in depth thoughts about the whole collection and let's dive right in!

You have to admit, even if you're not a packaging fanatic (like me), this is the CUTEST packaging ever. Out of all the things in the collection, I love the mini lip gloss set with the necklace. Jeffree Star mentioned that th…

Tips and Tricks: How To Shop At Ulta The Right Way

I'll be discussing my tips and trick on how to shop smart and savvy at Ulta, while saving some money! Whether you're a newbie or an expert shopping at Ulta, some of you guys might be missing out on how to get the most bang for your buck! I've previously talked about the Ulta rewards system and how I prefer it over Sephora's. That'll be a key aspect in your savvy money saving adventures at Ulta. With that in mind, let's get into it!

This will be your LIFE SAVER and your bank's bff! Unlike Sephora, where you save up points just to get sample sized products, Ultamate Rewards allows you to save up points to get cash off your next purchase. When you sign up to be a rewards member, you get exclusive offers (that I'll go further in depth about), get a free birthday gift, and earn x2 points per dollar spent. Once you've spent $450 USD, you become a platinum member, which I have successfully accomplished in the photo sho…

The Best Products: Tarte Cosmetics

Anyone looking into or wanting to purchase anything from Tarte, here's your guide of my all time favorite products from Tarte Cosmetics I'll be discussing my favorite products from one of my all time favorite makeup brands! In my opinion, I think Tarte is a great beginners brand for those ready to step into the real world of makeup. Obviously, not every product from Tarte is the greatest but this is your guide to avoid getting the wrong product for you!

SturdyWonderful Vanilla ScentCreamyPigmentedBest Palette for BeginnersLittle fallout The Tartelette in Bloom was one of my first "big girl palettes" that really got me into makeup. I mentioned it in my Holy Grails because it's truly an amazing palette. I remember being blown away by how pigmented the shimmer shades were and the lovely vanilla scent when I first used it. The shades are super creamy and blendable (and smell fantastic if I haven't mentioned it for the milliont…

My Thoughts: Beauty Reviews in the Beauty Community

I'll be discussing what I think about makeup reviews within the beauty community and my advice for product research! Makeup is truly a wonderful thing because one product doesn't work out well for one person but is another person's "holy grail" product. Once that person has a response to a product, some will review them (like me) to an audience on social media on whether it was good or not.
People do this to create a rating balance for a product because real people want to know if a product is worth it or not. What I mean by "rating balance" is the ability to review every feature of a product from poor to exceptional fairly and getting an average star rating of it. People want to know if the quality is good, if the pigmentation is there, if it's travel friendly, so on and so forth.

I think for some time, a lot of people lost trust in beauty guru's reviews on YouTube because they felt they were undisclosed on if they were sponsored reviews or …

My senior year of high school is arriving so much sooner than I want it to and I am super nervous. College applications, senior rallies, financial aid fill outs, all too stressful to think about. Though I am a mainly beauty blog, I do want to expand on the topics of fashion and lifestyle. With back to school season coming, I decided to capitalize on it and talk about some must haves everyone needs to survive the day. Without hesitation, let's get into it!

TRAVEL SIZED DRY SHAMPOO
